Winter is one beautiful season & as nature lovers, it is hard not to appreciate all the allure and mysticism that this time of year brings about. There is something about the falling snow and the icicles that can captivate just about anyone. On the other hand, it does take a special type of explorer to brave the chilly tundra and make the trek through the snow and the ice in the name of adventure. To those we say, you are our people! OMEALS believes in the everyday explorer and the professinal athlete and everyone in between. We love getting to see you enjoy our meals in the tropical getaways and the snow topped mountains. This winter, we have decided to put together a list of some of the most coveted hiking spots in the USA to power through and enjoy this season. Here are some of the most popular destinations:

Texas: Big Bend National Park, South Rim Loop
Florida: Big Cypress National Preserve, Florida National Scenic Trail
Utah: Bryce Canyon, Fairyland Loop

There are endless reasons why winter is a good time to hike! Generally, the crowds are lower this time of year, which means more of the trail to yourself which is always a plus. The weather is, of course, much cooler as well - however, not all of these places are in frigid climates. You can even visit some in the Southern states that will not provide you with snow, but certainly some great hiking climates. You also likely won't have as much contact with things like pesky bugs and mosquitos in the colder months. All in all, finding gorgeous places to hike this winter should be at the top of your list! The views are stunning and the memories, sure to last a lifetime. Don't forget how greta your hot and ready OMEALS will be on your adventure as well. Did you know that even snow can activate our heating technology? You don't even need to carry extra water with you.
How many of these points on the map have you explored? Are there any on your bucket list?
